PCSSD is one of nine schools in Arkansas to receive the ACHIEVE funding.

Participation in the partnership provides a number of professional development opportunities for PCSSD administrators and teachers. PCSSD will participate in the following offerings:

  • National Board for Professional Teacher Standards
  • Carnegie Foundation for Advancement of Teaching
  • Wallace Foundation National SAM Innovation Project
  • Boyd Griffin Associates
  • Harvard Strategic Data Project

Additionally, about a dozen PCSSD principals are participating in the coaching program, which allows their teachers to receive additional coaching in an effort to provide additional supports to school staff.
